I-Manifest worked with 45 year 10 students from Mullumbimby High School to explore how pop-culture icons have used creativity to influence culture and change the world.
Working alongside local industry mentors Sonia Caiero (Truth and Wild Horses), Sebastian Hartog (Skuff TV), Phil Pyne, Simon Greaves, Jonathan Miller, Jeff Dawson (Echo), Jessie Prince, Carl Weir (SAE) and Simon Klar (SAE) the music students created a mini music documentary exploring how pop culture icon Beyoncé has used her power to drive change while the photography class re-created infamous photographs of pop culture icons, fusing icons past and present with themselves; the next generation of change.
All the content created was showcased at the I-Manifest pop-up gallery at Splendour in the Grass 2016.
